John Losinger's practice involves a wide range of civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, employment actions, environmental and toxic tort litigation, and the defense of professional malpractice claims.  He also has experience conducting comprehensive investigations for public and private clients.

Additionally, Jack regularly represents property owners in the Tax Court of New Jersey and in the County Boards of Taxation.

Representative Matters

Represented employers, both pre-suit and in litigation, in connection with claims for hostile work environment, discrimination, and wrongful termination.

Following a bench trial, procured a judgment for money damages in favor of a multinational IT and networking company, on the basis that a customer breached a UCC Finance Lease Agreement.

Successfully resolved probate litigation on behalf of the executor of an estate arising from a dispute as to the validity of a handwritten codicil to the decedent’s will.

Successfully moved to preliminarily dismiss portions of a Complaint filed against a construction company, and, shortly thereafter, negotiated the voluntary withdrawal of the lawsuit.

Obtained partial summary judgment on behalf of owners of real property in a lawsuit arising from a tenant’s breach of a commercial lease agreement.

Filed, pursued, and successfully resolved lawsuits against insurance carriers arising from underpayments following Super Storm Sandy.

Represented families in connection with the appointment of guardians of the person and estate of incapacitated individuals.

Obtained reductions in tax assessments for property owners in matters pending before the County Boards of Taxation and the Tax Court of New Jersey.

Successfully represented property owners in landlord-tenant court, by either evicting delinquent tenants, or reaching resolutions through which tenants make payments for back rent owed.

Represented colleges, universities, private schools, and business entities to conduct in-depth investigations into allegations of, among other things, hostile work environment, inappropriate sexual conduct, discrimination, and hazing.
