Melissa concentrates her practice on real estate transactions.

Professional History

Prior to joining Saiber LLC, Melissa worked as an associate at an Essex County law firm for six years, where she concentrated on real estate matters, including the representation of entities and individuals in the acquisition, sale, financing and leasing of commercial real estate. Prior to entering private practice, Melissa served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert Gardner, Law Division – Criminal Part, and the Honorable Michelle Hollar-Gregory, Chancery Division – Family Part, Superior Court of New Jersey, Newark, NJ.  Before attending law school, Melissa was an account executive in the healthcare group of a major international communications firm, where she focused on pharmaceutical public relations.

Representative Matters

Represented a healthcare company in connection with sale of seven healthcare facilities in Missouri valued at approximately $53,750,000.00, and separately, in connection with the sale of a healthcare facility located in New Jersey valued at $2,500,000.00.

Represented a real estate investment company in connection with the purchase of property in New Jersey valued at approximately $12,500,000.00, which transaction included the corporate leaseback of approximately 178,000 square feet of the property acquired.

Represented a public utility in connection with property acquisitions, various types of leases, easements, right of entry agreements and license agreements needed for construction, expansion and maintenance of electric and gas facilities.

Represented a state agency in connection with fee acquisitions, negotiation and purchase of easements, sale of surplus properties and related real estate matters.
