On May 7, 2013, Saiber attorneys Sean R. Kelly and Rina G. Tamburro along with Linda Coleman, Regional COO of Marsh & McLennan Agency, presented a 1.5 hour educational seminar at Saiber’s Conference Center for clients and colleagues on employment issues. Saiber seminars are part of a continuing series of events geared to assist clients and friends of the firm with the application of law to their business goals.
The May 7th seminar entitled the “Pink Slip Polka,” covered 3 critical issues for employers and in house counsels: (1) a ten step decision analysis on legal dismissal focused on reducing employment litigation; (2) monitoring employee electronic communications and social media policy and; (3) employment practices liability insurance and loss prevention. The seminar was attended by some 80 clients and contacts of both firms.
