Stacey Cozewith

Stacey A. Cozewith is a Member and Chair of the Firm’s Family Law practice group. As a seasoned family law attorney, Stacey has over 20 years’ experience representing individuals in a full spectrum of family law matters, including, but not limited to, divorce proceedings, prenuptial agreements, cohabitation issues, relocation, domestic violence, civil union dissolution, college contribution, alimony negotiations, child support and custody arrangements, and equitable distribution.

Stacey approaches her practice with a unique blend of compassion and understanding, while also being a fierce advocate for her clients going through divorce and other family law related matters. She is a confident litigator, who regularly appears on behalf of her clients in trial proceedings in New Jersey Family Court. Stacey is also among what is only approximately two percent of all family law attorneys in New Jersey, to be designated a certified matrimonial attorney. This is a designation given by the New Jersey Supreme Court to family law attorneys who have demonstrated sufficient levels of experience, education, knowledge, and skill in matrimonial law practice. In addition, Stacey is a certified mediator for the State of New Jersey and acts as a mediator and arbitrator in often complex family law matters.

Prior to joining Saiber, Stacey was a Partner at a boutique family law firm based in New Jersey. Before entering private practice, Stacey served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas H. Dilts, P.J.F.P., Somerset County, from September 2004 through August 2005.

Stacey received her B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark.
