On Wednesday, May 16, Jeffrey Lorell presented a CLE program entitled, "Creative Proactive Defense Strategies," to lawyers at York Professional Services in New York. The program focused on ways to get the complaint dismissed against an insured without filing an answer or motion; defense strategies involving the affidavit of merit requirement in professional malpractice cases; offers of judgment; and Mary Carter agreements.
