Saiber LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Philip A. Markowitz and Jordan S. Solomon as members of the firm and Kevin Coughlin as associate to its growing business services practice.
"After the 2014 addition of the Marcus, Brody, Ford & Kessler boutique business firm, Saiber continues to grow its business services practice with the addition of these three outstanding lateral hires," commented Managing Partner William F. Mr. Markowitz has extensive experience in commercial real estate. He represents retailers in connection with leasing, and represents sellers and buyers of commercial real estate and shopping centers. Mr. Markowitz is also actively involved with hotel acquisitions and development and associated aspects of these types of transactions, including joint ventures, franchise agreements and management agreements.
In welcoming Mr. Markowitz, Nino A. Mr. Markowitz joins the firm with nearly twenty years of private practice experience. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1997 and his B.A. from Rutgers University in 1993.
Mr. Solomon has a broad-based corporate counseling practice with extensive experience representing clients in business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, stock and asset purchases and sales, divestitures, joint ventures and commercial lending.
In welcoming Mr. Solomon, Jane L. Brody, co head of the firm’s business services practice said, "Jordan adds tremendous bench strength to our growing corporate practice. He is a great addition to the firm and brings significant experience to the group."
Mr. Solomon joins the firm with nearly fifteen years of private practice experience. He received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1993 and his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College in 1988.
Mr. Coughlin joins the firm with two years of private practice experience after previously serving as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Alan G. Lesnewich in the Superior Court of New Jersey. He received his B.S. from Cornell University in 2010 and his J.D. from Fordham University in 2013.
Mr. Maderer commented that given market demand, Saiber intends to continue to expand its business services practice with the addition of outstanding, experienced attorneys. "The firm, and in particular our business services practice, is poised to experience strong growth in the second half of 2017 and beyond," said Maderer. "Looking ahead, we will continue to look for ways to expand our practice, which will include the addition of lateral partners," he added.
